Scope and site management

Hatunsaray.com is operated as a personal, non-commercial cultural information project about Hatunsaray and Lystra. In this policy, the person operating the domain is referred to as the site operator.

The site has no membership system, contact form, comments, sales, payment facility or advertising profile. It does not intentionally ask visitors for their name, email address, telephone number or payment information.

What information may be processed

Technical access records

The hosting server may temporarily record an IP address, date and time, requested address, browser or device information, response code and security errors. These records are used to deliver the site, maintain service continuity, investigate faults and prevent misuse.

Language and consent choices

When you choose a language, a first-party preference cookie may remember that choice. Your cookie and external-media decision is stored in your browser so that the notice is not shown on every page.

External maps

Google Maps is not loaded before optional external-media consent. If you enable the map, Google may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser details and the page you visited, and may use its own storage technologies.

Purposes and legal grounds

Only the minimum information required for the following purposes is processed:

• Providing pages, maintaining technical security and preventing misuse.
• Remembering a language or privacy choice expressly requested by the visitor.
• Loading optional third-party map content only on the basis of the visitor’s affirmative consent.

Recipients and transfers

The hosting provider may process technical logs while supplying infrastructure and security services. Visitor data is not sold and is not shared for advertising.

If Google Maps is enabled, technical data may be processed by Google under its own rules and on infrastructure outside Türkiye. No transfer to Google is initiated by this site before consent.

Retention and security

The language preference is kept for up to 12 months and the consent choice for up to 180 days. Server-log retention is determined by security needs, hosting settings and applicable legal obligations.

Reasonable technical measures are used, including HTTPS, restricted internal files and minimised data collection. Nevertheless, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure.

Your rights and controls

Subject to the conditions of applicable law, including Article 11 of Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, you may request information about processing, correction, deletion or destruction, and object to an unlawful result.

You can change optional-content consent at any time through Cookie Settings. Statutory requests may be submitted to the site operator through the existing channel used to contact the domain owner.
